Microsoft_Teams is a video conferencing platform provided by Microsoft.

Error 500 On MS Teams:

Error 500 is experienced by session identity incompatibility between the current login attempt and saved login details. Below are options to try and resolve this.

For those using the Microsoft Teams application, uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Microsoft Teams for Desktop from the internet. Try and login again.

For those using web browsers, clear their cache and cookies and try and login again. One can also try and log in from a different browser. Take note that Microsoft Teams does not support Mozilla Firefox.

Below are the steps of clearing the cache in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari browsers.

In Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome.

2. At the top right, click More More.

3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.

4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

In Microsoft Edge

To clear cache and cookies when using Microsoft Edge, follow the steps detailed below: • Click on the. menu button situated in the upper right corner.

1.Click on Settings.

2. Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.

3. Click on Clear

In Safari on a Mac Computer

1. Click the Safari menu.

2. Select Empty Cache.

3. Click Empty.
